To honor the Omni Parker House’s 170th anniversary and unveil its newly renovated spaces, I developed and executed a signature event on November 12 designed to immerse guests in the hotel’s storied legacy while showcasing its refreshed future. We welcomed an audience of media, influencers, Omni Hotels & Resorts executives, loyal customers, and key partners for an evening that blended history, hospitality, and modern storytelling.
The experience unfolded across multiple floors, each curated to highlight a different chapter of the property’s identity. Guests explored an archival exhibit featuring rare artifacts and memorabilia, engaged with on-demand poets crafting personalized works inspired by their stories, and stepped into an AI-enhanced photobooth that merged Parker House heritage with contemporary creativity. The night concluded with an after-hours speakeasy takeover of Parker’s Bar, complete with immersive touches that paid tribute to the hotel’s iconic past.
The event generated strong visibility and meaningful engagement. Among the attendees were 11 prominent media outlets—including Travel + Leisure, MassLive, and Axios Boston—and 10 influencers who shared 42 pieces of content, reaching more than 783.5K impressions. Beyond the numbers, the celebration successfully positioned the renovation as both culturally relevant and deeply connected to the hotel’s 170-year legacy.
This project represents the intersection of my work in experiential design, event strategy, and brand storytelling—bringing a historic property to life in a way that resonates with modern audiences while honoring its legendary heritage.
